This long-reach plastic oil funnel is a straightforward automotive utility tool designed to simplify fluid maintenance for cars and motorcycles. Its primary function is to provide a stable path for oil or fuel into hard-to-reach fill ports, helping to prevent messy spills and splashes on the engine block. The design features a narrow spout and a wide mouth, which is a standard configuration for basic garage maintenance tasks. Given its high order volume, it is clearly a popular choice for DIY mechanics looking for a low-cost solution to a common problem.
While the product is marketed as a splash-proof filler, its effectiveness depends entirely on the fit between the funnel tip and your specific vehicle's intake. The plastic construction suggests it is lightweight and easy to store, though it is intended for basic gravity-fed pouring rather than high-pressure use. With thousands of units sold and a very high satisfaction rating, the product has a proven track record of meeting basic expectations for a simple plastic tool.
โ Pros
Extremely high buyer rating suggests the product consistently matches the description and performs as expected.
The long-neck design is specifically helpful for motorcycles and modern cars with recessed engine components.
Massive order history indicates a reliable manufacturing process and high availability.
Cons and cautions
Basic plastic construction may be prone to cracking if stored under heavy tools or exposed to extreme temperatures.
Lacks a flexible neck, which might limit its use in the most awkward or curved engine layouts.

Who it's for: This tool is ideal for home mechanics and vehicle owners who perform their own oil changes or need to top up fluids in cramped engine bays where a standard short funnel cannot reach the intake port comfortably.
Who should skip it: It is not suitable for professional workshops requiring heavy-duty chemical-resistant equipment, nor for users who need a funnel with a built-in filter or a specific threaded attachment for hands-free pouring.
๐ Check before you buy
Confirm the total length of the funnel with the seller to ensure it reaches your specific vehicle's fill port.
Ask the seller if the plastic is rated for high-temperature fluids if you plan to drain warm oil.
Verify the diameter of the narrowest part of the spout to ensure it fits into your fuel or oil intake.
๐ฐ Value verdict: Given the current discount and the exceptionally high volume of successful orders, this funnel offers excellent value. It is priced as a budget utility item, and the near-perfect rating from thousands of users suggests that it fulfills its basic promise without any significant flaws for the price point.
๐ก Tips
Wipe the funnel clean after every use to prevent dust and grit from contaminating your engine during the next oil change.
Store the funnel in a vertical position or a dedicated bag to keep the interior free from garage debris.
Questions about this product
Will this funnel stay upright on its own while pouring?
This depends on the depth of your fill port. Since it is a basic plastic funnel without a locking mechanism, you should generally hold it with one hand to ensure it stays secure.
Is the plastic resistant to gasoline and harsh chemicals?
The product is listed for fuel and oil use, but for long-term durability with aggressive solvents, you should message the seller to confirm the specific type of plastic used.
Does it include a mesh screen to catch debris?
Based on the provided description, no internal filter is mentioned. If a clean pour is critical, you may need to add a separate filter or verify with the seller.
