Updated 29.10.2026 ยท from InstaShop's own daily price tracking (32 days since 28.09.2026)
AliExpress shows a crossed-out "original" price next to almost every product. We track the real price of 6,840 products every day and checked: was that original price ever actually charged?

In our daily tracking of 6,840 products, 66% show a discount of 10% or more, and for about 92% of them we never recorded the "original" price โ not even close โ on any tracked day.
Not necessarily. The AliExpress "original" price is set by the seller and may have applied before we started tracking. What is certain: the claimed discount does not tell you how much you really save โ compare with the price history.
The free InstaShop Price Check extension shows the ILS price history on every product page and warns when the original price was never seen. You can also paste a link in the web price checker.
