A price tracker shows whether an AliExpress price is really good. But extensions differ a lot in what they can read, what they do with links and how honest their verdict is. Here is what to check – and how InstaShop Price Check answers each point.

In our inflated-discount report, most claimed discounts had an "original" price we never recorded. A good tracker shows you the real history instead.
It shows the price history on the product page, tells you whether today's price is good compared with the past, and alerts you when it drops – so you do not buy at a high moment or because of an inflated discount.
There are several well-known ones, such as AliPrice and AliHelper, with different features. Compare them by permissions, affiliate-link handling, currency and language – using the table on this page – and read the Chrome Web Store reviews.
It depends on its permissions and policy. One that runs only on AliExpress, needs no sign-up and never rewrites links exposes the least. Always check "Permissions" on the store page.
