๐ In-depth analysis
The XP-Pen protective film is a specialized accessory designed specifically for the Artist 15.6 Pro and Innovator 16 graphic displays. This pack includes two units, providing a backup for when the first layer eventually wears down from heavy stylus use. As an official accessory for these specific drawing tablets, it aims to maintain the original tactile feel of the screen while shielding the glass from the micro-scratches that naturally occur during long digital illustration sessions. The high buyer rating suggests that the texture and clarity meet the expectations of digital artists who require precision.
While the product is listed under a general computer category, its utility is strictly limited to the mentioned drawing monitors. The current discount makes this a practical maintenance purchase for professionals or hobbyists who have noticed their current screen surface becoming slick or damaged. Since it comes in a two-pack, it offers a longer-term solution for screen preservation without requiring frequent reordering.
โ Pros
Official compatibility with specific XP-Pen models ensures a better fit than universal protectors.
The two-pack configuration provides an immediate replacement for future use.
High buyer satisfaction ratings indicate consistent quality and performance for digital art.
Cons and cautions
Installation on large 15.6-inch screens can be difficult and prone to dust bubbles.
Limited versatility as it only fits two specific graphic monitor models.

This analysis is written with an AI model from the product data (name, category, price, rating and orders), not from a hands-on test. How we choose and score
Who it's for: This is for owners of the XP-Pen Artist 15.6 Pro or Innovator 16 who want to refresh their drawing surface or protect their investment from stylus friction and oils.
Who should skip it: It is not suitable for generic 15.6-inch laptops or other tablet brands, as the cutouts and dimensions are specifically tailored to XP-Pen hardware.
๐ Check before you buy
Confirm with the seller if the film has a matte or glossy finish to match your drawing preference.
Verify the exact dimensions and cutout positions to ensure compatibility with your specific tablet revision.
Ask the seller about the thickness of the film to ensure it does not interfere with stylus pressure sensitivity.
๐ฐ Value verdict: Given the high rating and the fact that you receive two units, the current price point represents a fair deal for essential maintenance. Protecting a professional drawing monitor is significantly cheaper than replacing the glass, making this a sensible value-driven purchase for active creators.
๐ก Tips
Apply the film in a humid environment, like a bathroom after a shower, to minimize airborne dust particles.
Clean the screen thoroughly with a lint-free cloth and use adhesive tape to remove every speck of dust before application.
Questions about this product
Will this film change the way my stylus feels on the screen?
Protective films for drawing tablets are designed to mimic the original texture, but you should verify with the seller if this specific film is matte or smooth.
Is it difficult to remove the old film before applying this one?
Usually, these films use a light adhesive that peels off without residue, but it is best to check the manufacturer instructions for the safest removal method.
Can I use this on a standard 15.6-inch laptop screen?
It is not recommended, as the dimensions and cutouts are specifically engineered for the Artist 15.6 Pro and Innovator 16 drawing monitors.
