๐ In-depth analysis
The Heenvn sunshade is a specialized interior accessory designed for Tesla Model 3 and Model Y owners, including the newer Highland and Juniper iterations. This product targets a common pain point for EV owners: the intense heat transfer through the expansive glass roof. Using what the manufacturer describes as ice silk fabric, the shade aims to provide a thermal barrier while maintaining a clean, integrated look within the cabin. The inclusion of buckles suggests a mechanical installation process rather than a simple friction fit, which generally provides better stability during high-speed driving or when the windows are down.
With over two thousand orders and a strong rating above 4.5 stars, this item has established a significant footprint in the aftermarket Tesla community. It is sold as a set for both the front and rear sunroof sections, ensuring full coverage for all passengers. While the design is tailored for specific model years including 2025 and 2026, the primary appeal lies in its promise of improved climate control efficiency by reducing the workload on the vehicle's air conditioning system during peak summer months.
โ Pros
High volume of successful orders indicates a reliable fit for the specified Tesla models.
The ice silk fabric choice suggests a more premium tactile feel compared to basic mesh options.
Comprehensive coverage for both front and rear glass panels included in one package.
The current discount is very minimal, meaning you are paying close to the standard retail price.
Installation of the rear panel can be tricky and may require a second person for perfect alignment.
Potential for slight sagging over time if the tension clips are not positioned perfectly.
This analysis is written with an AI model from the product data (name, category, price, rating and orders), not from a hands-on test. How we choose and score
Who it's for: This is ideal for Tesla owners living in hot climates who find the glass roof uncomfortable during midday. It is also a great choice for those who prefer a cohesive interior look that matches the vehicle's minimalist aesthetic.
Who should skip it: It is not suitable for drivers who enjoy the open-sky feeling year-round or those who own non-Tesla vehicles, as the custom dimensions and buckle system are specific to these car models.
๐ Check before you buy
Confirm with the seller if the shade is a single-layer or double-layer design for heat insulation.
Verify the exact number of mounting clips included in the package to ensure a secure fit.
Ask the seller if the fabric color is a perfect match for your specific interior upholstery (Black vs. White).
Check if the shade is foldable for easy storage in the trunk when not in use.
๐ฐ Value verdict: Given the high order count and solid buyer rating, this product offers fair value. While the current discount is negligible, the price reflects a proven fit for high-end vehicles. You are paying for the peace of mind that comes with a high-volume, well-reviewed accessory that fits the latest 2025-2026 models.
๐ก Tips
Let the fabric sit out of the packaging for 24 hours to remove any fold creases before installing.
Clean the interior trim edges thoroughly before attaching the buckles to prevent them from slipping.
Store the shades flat in the trunk during winter to maintain their structural shape.
Questions about this product
Will this shade sag in the middle over time?
While the buckle system is designed to maintain tension, some minor sagging can occur in large glass roofs. Check with the seller if an optional center support clip is included.
Is it difficult to see through the roof with this installed?
This is a sunshade designed to block light and heat, so it will significantly obscure the view of the sky compared to the bare glass.
Does it fit the 2024 Highland Model 3?
Yes, the listing specifically mentions compatibility with the Highland and Juniper updates, but always double-check your specific production month with the seller.
