๐ In-depth analysis
These Miami-themed keycaps offer a striking black and white aesthetic designed specifically for MX-style mechanical keyboards. The set includes either 104 or 108 keys, making it compatible with most standard full-sized layouts. A standout feature is the side-printed legends and semi-transparent design, which allows backlighting to shine through the sides rather than just the top. This creates a unique glow effect that highlights the keyboard's internal lighting without overwhelming the visual clarity of the key surfaces.
Constructed using a double-shot process, the legends are molded into the plastic rather than printed on top, which helps prevent fading over time. While the listing confirms the use of PBT material, which is generally known for its textured feel and resistance to shine, the overall build quality must be weighed against the very low number of orders currently recorded. The design is clearly aimed at enthusiasts looking to customize their desk setup with a high-contrast look.
โ Pros
Double-shot molding ensures that the legends will not wear off or fade with heavy use.
Side-printed design offers a sleek, minimalist look while still remaining functional for the user.
PBT material is typically more durable and oil-resistant than standard ABS plastic.
Semi-transparent properties allow for creative lighting effects with RGB-enabled boards.
Cons and cautions
Extremely limited sales history with only three orders, making it hard to judge long-term reliability.
Side-lit legends can be harder to read for those who haven't mastered touch typing.

This analysis is written with an AI model from the product data (name, category, price, rating and orders), not from a hands-on test. How we choose and score
Who it's for: This set is ideal for mechanical keyboard hobbyists who own MX-compatible switches and want a clean, high-contrast black and white look. It is especially suited for users with RGB keyboards who prefer side-lit legends over traditional top-lit styles.
Who should skip it: Users with non-standard keyboard layouts, membrane keyboards, or those who require top-facing legends for visibility in low light may find this side-printed design difficult to use effectively.
๐ Check before you buy
Confirm if your specific keyboard layout uses a standard bottom row to ensure all keys fit.
Verify the exact thickness of the PBT plastic with the seller to gauge durability.
Ask the seller for a photo of the actual product to confirm the shade of white and black.
Check if a keycap puller tool is included in the package or if it must be purchased separately.
๐ฐ Value verdict: While the buyer rating is currently perfect, the very small sample size of orders suggests caution. At the current price point, you are paying for a specific aesthetic. If the double-shot PBT quality holds up, it represents a fair deal for a niche customization set, but it remains a speculative purchase.
๐ก Tips
Ensure your keyboard has north-facing or south-facing LEDs that align well with side-printed legends for the best visual effect.
Clean your keyboard plate thoroughly before installing the new caps to ensure a snug and even fit across all switches.
Questions about this product
Will these keycaps fit my specific mechanical keyboard?
These are designed for MX-style switches. You should verify with the seller if your keyboard uses a standard layout, especially regarding the size of the spacebar and shift keys.
Is the lighting visible through the top of the keys?
No, these are described as having side-lit, semi-transparent legends, meaning the light primarily glows through the sides rather than the top surface.
Do these keys feel smooth or textured?
As they are made of PBT, they generally have a slightly textured, matte feel compared to smooth ABS plastic, but you should confirm the specific finish with the seller.
