The Feyree EV Wallbox is a dedicated home charging station designed for electric vehicles utilizing the Type 1 (J1772) standard. This single-phase unit is available in various power configurations, ranging from 32A (7.6KW) up to a robust 50A (12KW). Its primary draw is the integration of app-based control, which allows users to manage their charging sessions, likely including scheduling and real-time monitoring, directly from a mobile device. This makes it a significant step up from basic portable chargers for users seeking a permanent, high-capacity residential solution.
With a near-perfect buyer rating and a solid number of orders, the product has established a positive track record among early adopters. The unit is built for those who need faster charging speeds than a standard wall outlet can provide, provided their home electrical system can support the high amperage. While the design appears modern, the focus remains on its high power delivery and smart connectivity features, positioning it as a functional centerpiece for a home EV setup.
✅ Pros
- Offers high-capacity charging up to 50A/12KW, significantly reducing home charging times.
- Extremely high buyer rating suggests excellent reliability and user satisfaction so far.
- Smart app integration provides modern convenience for managing charging sessions remotely.
- Compatible with the widely used J1772 Type 1 standard for broad vehicle utility.
Cons and cautions
- The current discount is very large, which may suggest the original list price was set artificially high.
- Single-phase limitation means it cannot take advantage of three-phase residential power systems.
- Few written reviews (45), so the rating rests on a small sample
- 6 variants on one listing: price and spec change with the option you pick
Who it's for: This wallbox is ideal for EV owners with Type 1 ports who require a high-amperage home charging solution. It is particularly suited for tech-savvy users who want to monitor their energy usage and control charging via a smartphone app.
Who should skip it: It is not suitable for vehicles requiring a Type 2 connector or for homes with three-phase power requirements. It is also not for those who cannot upgrade their home electrical panel to support 32A-50A circuits.
