Who it's for: This light is perfect for renters who cannot modify their furniture or walls, students needing a focused reading light in a dorm, and homeowners looking for a quick way to brighten up dark pantries or closets without hiring an electrician.
Who should skip it: This product is likely not suitable for those requiring high-intensity lighting for large rooms or for users who want a permanent, hardwired fixture that never requires recharging.
🔎 Check before you buy
- Ask the seller for the total length and width of the light to ensure it fits your cabinet or shelf.
- Verify the battery capacity in mAh to estimate how many hours of light you will get per charge.
- Confirm whether the light offers different color temperatures (warm vs. cool white) or dimming levels.
- Check if the charging cable is included and whether it uses a USB-C or Micro-USB connection.
💡 Tips
- Before sticking the magnetic base to a surface, clean the area with alcohol to ensure the strongest possible bond.
- To extend the time between charges, use the light only when needed rather than leaving it on as ambient background light.
- If using as a reading light, experiment with the placement height to find the best angle for your eyes.
