The Orico EU Plug power strip is a multi-functional charging solution designed for modern desktop and travel needs. Featuring a 1.1-meter extension cable, this compact unit bridges the gap between traditional power needs and modern USB-powered gadgets. It provides two standard AC outlets alongside two USB-A ports and a dedicated Type-C port, allowing you to power a laptop or monitor while simultaneously charging mobile devices. Orico is a well-regarded name in the electronics peripheral market, which generally suggests a higher standard of build quality compared to generic alternatives.
With a high buyer rating and a steady number of orders, the product appears to be meeting user expectations for reliability and convenience. The inclusion of 'fast charging' for the Type-C port is a significant benefit for those looking to top up phones or tablets quickly. Its portable design makes it an excellent choice for hotel rooms where outlets are often scarce or poorly positioned, provided the 1.1-meter reach is sufficient for your setup.

Who it's for: This hub is ideal for digital nomads, frequent travelers, and office workers who need to consolidate their charging setup. It is perfect for someone who wants to replace multiple wall adapters with a single, tidy desktop power solution.
Who should skip it: This product is not suitable for users requiring a long-reach extension cord or those looking to power high-wattage kitchen appliances. It is also insufficient for workstations requiring more than two traditional AC plugs.
🔎 Check before you buy
- Confirm the maximum total wattage (W) supported by the AC outlets to ensure it can handle your specific hardware.
- Verify the individual and total output wattage (A/W) for the USB and Type-C ports with the seller.
- Ask the seller if the unit includes surge protection or any specific safety certifications for the EU region.
- Double-check the dimensions of the unit to ensure it fits comfortably in your travel bag or on your desk.
💡 Tips
- Measure the distance from your wall outlet to your desk to ensure the 1.1M cable length is adequate for your needs.
- If using the Type-C port for fast charging, ensure you are using a high-quality cable that supports higher power delivery.
- Avoid daisy-chaining this power strip with other extension cords to ensure maximum safety and power stability.
